ICD Chapter XIX, Injury, poisoning and certain other consequences of external causes (Injury coding type 1) and Chapter XX, External causes of morbidity and mortality (Injury coding type 2) have been combined. Note that Mortality data was originally classified according to Chapter XX only, while the other data were classified by Chapter XIX.
